Have you seen your dentist at Spa Dental Sydney CBD recently?

Spa Dental Sydney CBD

Many people delay going to see their dental practitioner for a variety of reasons. Here at Spa Dental Sydney CBD we do everything we can to encourage our patients to have regular dental examinations. We will work with our patients do what we can to help them whether they are struggling with finances or purely overcoming a fear of the dentist. We want people to be smiling when they leave our practice, and the more frequently that they have an examination the more they are smiling healthily.

How often should you be seeing your dentist?

The only way to be sure of how often you should be seeing your dentist at Spa Dental Sydney CBD is to come in for an examination. One of our dental practitioners will be able to assess the condition of your teeth and advise you on how many check-ups you should be attending every year.

A majority of people will attend the dentist twice a year, but everybody is unique and so are their dental requirements. We ensure that every patient has a unique dental plan that is completely tailored to their individual needs. Some people will need to visit us more frequently depending on what treatments they are receiving and the condition of their teeth as well. The most important thing to us is that you are left feeling satisfied that we are improving and enhancing the condition of your teeth and smile.

What to do to keep your teeth strong and healthy

Whilst coming for regular check-ups at Spa Dental Sydney CBD is recommended to keep your teeth in brilliant condition, there are things that you can do at home as well. We inspire all our patients to adopt a reliable and thorough teeth-cleaning regime at home, as this keeps your teeth consistently healthy on a daily basis.

It is vitally important that you brush your teeth twice a day, once in the morning before breakfast and last thing at night before you go to sleep. This helps keep plaque and tartar build-up at a distance, and your breath will be kept smelling fresh. There are lots of arguments about whether an electric or manual toothbrush is better, but as long as you are using correct brushing motions with your manual one, they should be just as successful when it comes to keeping your teeth clean.

In addition to brushing with a trusted toothpaste, you should ideally be using mouthwash and floss as well. They both help you to reach areas of your mouth that you cannot get to with a toothbrush. If you do not use these products then the only time your teeth and mouth will receive a proper clean is when you come to our dental practice and have a professional clean.

If you are unsure of how to clean your teeth properly or about how often you should be visiting our practice, please enquire with our staff and find out, as your smile should never have to suffer.

All treatment carries risks. Individual consultation is required with one of our practitioners to ensure that the treatment is right for you.
