A repair that doesn't look like one
A filling repairs a tooth after decay, but that doesn't mean it has to look like a repair. We use tooth-coloured composite as standard, matched to your natural shade, so the result is a tooth that looks untouched rather than obviously restored.

White vs amalgam fillings
Tooth-coloured (composite) fillings bond directly to the tooth, require less removal of healthy tooth structure than older amalgam techniques, and are matched to your natural shade for a near-invisible result. This is what we use as standard.
Amalgam (silver) fillings are more durable under very heavy biting force in some cases, but visibly grey and require more tooth structure removed to fit. We can discuss this option if it's specifically relevant to your case, though most patients today prefer composite for both appearance and technique.
How it works
From assessment to a polished, natural-feeling result, usually in a single visit.
Assessment
We confirm the extent of decay, generally with an X-ray, and discuss the filling material and approach.
Removing Decay
The decayed portion of the tooth is removed under local anaesthetic.
Filling & Shaping
Composite resin is applied in layers, shaped to match your natural tooth contour, and cured under light.
Bite Check & Polish
Your bite is checked and the filling polished so it feels natural immediately.
Filling pricing
from $320$320 to $630 per filling, depending on the size needed. No-gap options with most major health funds, confirmed at booking.
